On drug use: “I started smoking marijuana when I was 16. Even though everyone thought I was the ‘good girl,’ I did smoke marijuana from that point on… Later on it progressed to doing molly and ecstasy. [I tried] cocaine three times but I never got high from cocaine. I never liked it. It was never my drug of choice… I definitely abused Adderall.”
On abusing Adderall while filming Hall Pass: “When I was doing Hall Pass, I remember being in the trailer and I used to chew the Adderall tablets because I thought they made me [more] high [that way]… [I remember] seeing my image on the screen and literally tripping out and thinking my arm looked so fat because it was in the foreground or whatever and I remember rushing off set and thinking, Oh my god, I look so bad.”
On retiring from acting: “I saw [Hall Pass] and I was convinced that I should never be on camera again and I officially retired on Twitter, which was, you know, also stupid.”
On things she once wrote on Twitter: “I’m really ashamed and embarrassed with the things I said. I can’t turn back time but if I could, I would. And I’m so sorry to whoever I hurt and whoever I lied about because it truly eats away at me. It makes me feel so horrible and sick to my stomach and sad. Everything I worked my whole life to achieve, I kind of ruined it all through Twitter… it’s definitely not Twitter’s fault — it’s my own fault.”
On advice for others: “My advice to anyone who is struggling with substance abuse would be to be really careful because drugs can really take a hold of your life. Everybody is different, obviously, but for me, the mixture of marijuana and whatever other drugs and sometimes drinking really messed up my brain. It really made me a completely different person. I actually am a nice person. I would never feel, say or do any of the things that I did and said to the people I hurt on Twitter.”
On how she wants to return to acting: “Kind of the same way I did as a kid, which is with excitement and hope for the best.”

The world — and more than 1 million Twitter followers — has watched as Amanda Bynes appears to spin out of control.
But in a rare interview in the new issue of In Touch, the 27-year-old actress insists she’s fine and blasts anyone who suggests otherwise.
“I have no clue [why people say I’m insane]. Every time I’ve heard it, it came from an ugly person’s mouth, so I don’t care,” the actress — who rocks cheek piercings and a tangle of blond hair extensions— exclusively tells In Touch, on newsstands now. “The only ones lying about me having a mental illness are people I don’t talk to.”
Amanda, who often stays up all night and tweets around the clock, says she has the support of unnamed friends. “I only have hot friends,” she says. “They have my back until I die.”
She also knocks down any speculation of issues with addiction: “I don’t drink. I’m allergic to alcohol,” Amanda tells In Touch. And though photos surfaced of Amanda with what looked to be a joint, the star insists she doesn’t smoke pot— only tobacco.
In recent months, Amanda’s frequent trips to the gym have sparked headlines about her bizarre behavior, from stripping down to her bra in spin class to reportedly smoking in the locker room. But Amanda says she’s focused on getting in shape. “I’m getting in shape for all the photo shoots.” Amanda tells In Touch. I like being 100 pounds… 21 to go!”
While she “retired” from acting at the age of 24, Amanda tells the mag she’s financially set. “I’ll design clothes and sing because I want to, not because I need the money. I love singing and I can’t wait to start working on an album.”

Amanda Bynes doing an interview for “Big Fat Liar”. She was so cute!!!! We are going to post more videos for the “new” Amanda fans. And old, it’s always good to remember of her old projects. =)
Amanda Bynes experienced heartbreak in April when her 4-month-old teacup Pomeranian, Little Angel, died unexpectedly. And although she calls the experience “traumatic and devastating,” her new dog, Tiara, is keeping her spirits high.
“I already got a replacement pup, and she’s awesome,” Bynes recently told PEOPLE at the MTV Movie Awards. “I’m such an animal lover, so it was such a tragic, awful thing when I lost Angel.”
At first, the actress had reported Little Angel as being lost, and then told her followers on Twitter that the pooch had died. “Little Angel is in heaven now,” she wrote. “RIP I love you.”
“I didn’t go into detail about it because it was just so hard,” she recalled of the difficult time. “But I’m really happy I have another dog.”
Some of her fans had questioned Bynes’s decision to get a new dog so quickly, and again, she took to Twitter to defend herself. “For those asking if it’s too soon for me to get a new puppy, it isn’t too soon,” she said. “Tiara’s helping me cope with the loss of Little Angel.”
As rough as it was to lose her little one, Bynes is moving forward and focusing on her latest canine companion.
“Her name is Tiara like a princess’s tiara,” she said. “She’s just precious. She’s just a little Pomeranian. You’ve got to love them.“
